How we use crowdfunding

The MSU Alumni Foundation uses crowdfunding and other digital fundraising methods as part of an integrated fundraising strategy that supports the needs and priorities of Montana State University. Crowdfunding and MSU Giving Day both provide a way to gather support at a grassroots level for projects that may be especially urgent, timely, unique or that are not part of a larger campaign.

Crowdfunding is an effective way for groups and causes to raise support during a specific timeframe an is easily shared via various media.

Gifts large and small come together to provide important funding for areas across our university.
